The Challenge
Tenute Orestiadi is a winery deeply connected to its territory and cultural context. Located in Gibellina, a place where wine, land, and contemporary art coexist, the challenge was to redesign the website in a way that went beyond product storytelling. The goal was to convey the brand’s strong bond with its ecosystem, the vineyards, the Mediterranean landscape, and the artistic identity that defines the estate, while maintaining clarity and usability.
WHAT I DID FOR THIS PROJECT
Research
I analyzed user behaviors, competitors, and industry trends to understand how to effectively present the brand and its products. This phase helped identify usability issues and define a clear, content-driven design direction.
Wireframes
I designed low-fidelity wireframes to define the site structure, user flows, and access to the reserved area. This step allowed me to validate navigation and content hierarchy before moving to visual design.
Visual Design
I created a clean and refined interface that enhances product storytelling while staying true to the brand identity. The visual system focuses on clarity, consistency, and intuitive elements to support both users and agents.
Usability Testing
I tested interactive prototypes to evaluate user flows, navigation, and content clarity across different sections of the site. This step allowed me to validate usability issues and refine key interactions before moving to final delivery.
USER RESEARCH
User research helped identify users’ needs, behaviors, and expectations through qualitative insights and pattern analysis. The findings guided design decisions, leading to clearer flows and a more intuitive, user-centered experience.
Martina
Martina faces a problem when wine and estate information feels detached from the local story, making it hard to appreciate the full experience of the winery. The solution is to weave storytelling about family, terroir, and cultural heritage directly into the content, building emotional engagement.
Riccardo
Riccardo experiences a problem when navigation feels unclear and he struggles to find relevant wine categories and estate offerings. The solution involves simplifying navigation and structuring content so that users can easily explore wines, experiences, and events.
Alice
Alice encounters a problem when visual elements and hierarchy feel inconsistent, reducing her overall trust in the brand’s quality. The solution focuses on a cohesive visual design and refined imagery that reflects both the premium nature of the wines and the uniqueness of the estate.
STYLE GUIDE
The style guide defines a clear visual system through typography, color palettes, and reusable components, shaping a clean and contemporary user experience.
It provides a solid foundation to ensure visual consistency and coherence across all touchpoints of the project.

Approach & Visual Strategy
The redesign focused on building a visual narrative that reflects the dialogue between nature and art, central to Tenute Orestiadi and the cultural identity of Gibellina.
A key visual element of the project is a set of custom patterns inspired by the Mediterranean, drawing from its art, colors, textures, and cultural symbolism. These patterns are integrated throughout the site to evoke a strong sense of place and heritage. Combined with a refined grid and clear visual hierarchy, they translate the winery’s artistic soul into a contemporary digital language, presenting the wines as part of a broader ecosystem where land, culture, and creativity naturally intersect.
Mobile experience
The mobile experience was designed to preserve the same narrative depth as desktop. Content flows vertically, allowing imagery, patterns, and storytelling to guide users naturally through the site. Navigation and layouts were optimized to ensure a fluid, immersive experience across devices, without losing visual impact.
Results
The final website offers a cohesive and immersive digital identity for Tenute Orestiadi. By merging territory, art, and wine through layout, patterns, and storytelling, the redesign strengthens brand recognition and delivers a clear, distinctive experience that reflects the true spirit of the winery.
